This Herald of Khorne is the second attempt at making a self standing Herald  from the Blood Throne kit. This time I only used the legs (and leg armour) and the torso. Bloodletter arms were added with the left one streched out and a champion head (with Bestigor horns added) which seems a good size to the body.

Moulds were taken for armour from the Skullcrushers of Khorne and Chaos Space Marines kits.

This unit of 40 Bloodletters is the first unit of Bloodletters I ever built 4 years ago. I first began to convert the position of the Bloodletters arms. I then started making armour from scratch, existing pieces and then from moulds of GW bits. I also experimented with horns and colour. I look at the paint job now and cringe a little, but this unit was when I started the passion to dress up Bloodletters.

                         The Herald of Khorne horns are from a Bestigor Champion.

This unit of 22 Bloodletters of Khorne are converted with armour and Daemonette hostages that have been captured in battle and are now to be used to offend the Chaos God Slaanesh.

  This is the lastest  unit that I have completed and it has used a lot of moulds taken from a variety of different Games Workshop Models. The Forge World Herald  Khorne, Skulltaker, Warriors of Chaos, Bloodcrushers and Skullcrushers of Khorne, 40k Chaos Space Marines, Forsaken and Vampire counts skeletons all helped supply these Bloodletters with head, waist, shoulder and body armour.
